Buddha’s Pet-Care Company Policies

At Buddha’s Pet-Care it is very important that we take great care of our clients and their pets. The cancellation policies ensure fairness to all involved.

We absolutely hate to turn away any of our excellent clients because we are fully booked, but from time to time this does occur. The cancellation policies help to keep space available in our schedule for those who really need it, because I am only booking services with those that are certain they need us and know that cancellation policies apply should they need to cancel. I would hate to turn away a client because I am fully booked, only to have someone cancel on short notice whose space I could have given to someone who really needed it.  This occurs often around holidays & school vacation weeks, our schedule fills up, then many clients wait until the last moment to cancel, which makes it impossible for us to service the clients we had turned away. 

In addition to this, I put my life and soul into this company to ensure it sees success, this includes many extra hours outside of completing services. I believe that the work I do deserves to be paid when my work is canceled on short notice. The cancellation of one or two visits does not seem like a big deal but at times several clients can all attempt to cancel a few visits during a short period. This can cause a mess when trying to reorganize/schedule and a huge loss in perceived revenue. I want to keep Buddha’s Pet-Care going for a very long time so I’m choosing to value my time and services as much as possible to ensure the business’ future.

* Although most clients are wonderful about giving me proper notice for cancellations, these policies ensure that not only my clients but I, myself, respect my time going forward.

** As the business begins to grow these policy & price changes will be under further review. Part of these changes are to provide breathing room now as I am still doing all the work myself.

*** I’ll never compromise quality for quantity, I’ll continue to make sure I fulfill all service requirements while maintaining a diligent watch for the happiness, health, and safety of your loving pets.

**** Any client who hasn’t had services rendered in over 2 years will need to sign a new service agreement as files need to be updated

Policy Updates & New Pricing

All policies will be fully enforced from now on

I understand things happen, and I'll do my best to be a fair and rational person; however, I need to be fair to myself as well and value my time.  


Scheduling

  • Discounted or ‘package’ services require payment in full before the date of first service to guarantee service timing.

  • Overnight services will only be scheduled once payment has been made

  • All walks requested within 48 hours of planned arrival time will be subject to approval by the company and walker, as well as a 50% surcharge.

  • All Weekend services will be subject to approval and a 50% surcharge will be applied

  • All ‘Holiday’ (scheduled US holiday) services are subject to a 100% surcharge on days in which a holiday occurs.

  • Services may be scheduled (with caretaker approval) outside normal business hours subject to a 50% surcharge

Only Holiday OR Weekend surcharge applies (ALL surcharge $$ goes directly to caretaker)

Cancellations 

  • For any visit canceled with less than a full 72 hours notice from the start of the visit time window, payment is required in full.

  • All overnight cancellations will not be refunded. 

  • All ‘Holiday’ services are non refundable

Inclement Weather

  • In the case of inclement weather; services will still be provided; unless the county has released an inclement weather report closing schools/government buildings

    • Under discretion of Buddha's Pet-Care; for any severe weather that threatens the life of the care provider we will not render services and provide a full refund.
